The AutoPilot feature has been transformed into Device Groups, offering a more flexible and efficient way to organize and manage your fleet of devices within Trio.
What’s New:
Device Groups: AutoPilot has now been replaced with Device Groups, allowing for better organization and management of devices by categorizing them into logical groups (e.g., departments, locations, roles).
Enhanced Device Management: Device Groups enables admins to apply configurations, policies, and settings to a group of devices, simplifying mass management tasks and improving overall efficiency.
Simplified Workflow: Devices can now be enrolled and assigned to groups based on specific criteria or use cases, such as workstations, classrooms, or mobile devices, allowing for customized management and seamless updates.
Flexible Group Management: Easily add or remove devices from groups, enabling dynamic adjustments as your fleet evolves. Device Groups can be used to manage all devices from a single dashboard, providing a clearer overview of your organization's device ecosystem.
Why It’s Great:
Improved Efficiency: Grouping devices allows for faster deployment and easier management, especially when dealing with large fleets or specific use cases.
Better Customization: Device Groups provide a more granular approach to managing devices, enabling customized configurations and policies based on specific needs.
Streamlined Process: The transition from AutoPilot to Device Groups streamlines workflows and simplifies the assignment of tasks, reducing the complexity of device management.
